The daily gossip: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are having another baby, former Bachelorette Rachel Lindsay is speaking out, and more - Yahoo News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are officially expecting baby number two! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed on Valentine's Day that Archie, 2, will become a big brother later this year. Though the couple did not share specifically when their second child — who will be eighth in line to the throne — is due, their announcement included a romantic photo of the couple lounging in the grass, with Meghan cradling a noticeable baby bump. Meghan previously revealed that she had a miscarriage last July. The couple are due to appear in a "wide-ranging" interview with Oprah next month about "life as a royal, marriage, motherhood," and the family's plans for the future. [People, BBC]

This season of The Bachelor, featuring the first-ever Black bachelor, was framed as a leap forward. But as the final rose nears, the show has become entrenched in racial controversy. In an interview with Rachel Lindsay (the first Black bachelorette), host Chris Harrison defended current contestant Rachel Kirkconnell's decision to attend an Antebellum party in college. After receiving backlash for supporting Kirkconnell, Harrison announced he is "stepping aside" from hosting duties. Lindsay noted it's important not to be complacent just because the show has a Black lead. The show needs to "listen to the people that are underrepresented in the franchise and not be afraid to shake up [the] core audience," she said. "I think when they do that, that they'll be better." Serena Williams is headed to the Australian Open semi-finals (for the ninth time), and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, is headed to his closet to figure out what Serena merch he should wear to the match. Ever the supportive husband, Ohanian has been cheering her on both in the crowd and on his clothing. He rocked a T-shirt that read "Unstoppable Queen," then another with William's picture beside the words "Greatest female athlete." Ohanian also revealed on Twitter a shirt that reads "je ne m'arrêterai jamais," which translates to "never stop fighting." We'll have to wait until tomorrow to watch Williams face Naomi Osaka, and see what Ohanian is wearing in the stands. [Hollywood Life]

Olivia Wilde seemingly spent her Valentine's Day moving out of the house she used to share with her ex-fiancé, Jason Sudeikis — and into Harry Styles' home. Wilde additionally gushed about her new beau on Instagram on Monday, praising the singer for accepting a supporting role in her forthcoming female-led film Don't Worry Darling, explaining that "the industry has raised [men] to believe it lessens their power" to let a woman — in this case, Florence Pugh — hold the spotlight. Wilde's tribute sparked pushback from fans online about "praising men for doing the bare minimum. It's literally his job." Added another fan, "just say he's charming and pretty next time, Liv, we'll understand." [BuzzFeed News, Page Six]

Finally: someone is standing up for rich men! Appearing on Dax Shepard's Armchair Expert podcast this week, actress Salma Hayek started out by defending her marriage to billionaire François-Henri Pinault. "When I married him, everybody said, 'Oh, it's arranged marriage, she married him for the money,'" Hayek recalled. "I'm like, 'Yeah, whatever, b---h. Think what you want.' Fifteen years together, and we are strong in love." Good for them! But then things started to get weird: "We're touching on a very interesting conversation," Hayek went on, musing that "there is a discrimination also to rich men. Immediately you think because somebody's rich, [they] might not be a good person." Please, won't someone think of the billionaires? [Just Jared, Armchair Expert]
