Disney star, Debby Ryan, secretly wed the Twenty One Pilots band member on New Year’s Eve in Austin, Texas.
Technically their wedding was held in 2019, but they didn’t announce the news until May 2020, with a story in Vogue.
The couple, who got engaged in 2018, planned their wedding in just 28 days
Ryan and Dun decided to marry quickly following their friend’s death in 2018. “He [the friend] was excited that Joshua and I were getting married, and I never doubted that I’d know him through every coming phase of our lives,” Ryan explained.
“When he passed, it really rocked me and put a lot of things in perspective. It didn’t feel important to wait anymore, to stop being busy, or for things to line up perfectly—intending to do things is not nearly as powerful as doing, as we aren’t promised tomorrow.”
