“Jeopardy!” will continue its “vault” series at 7:30 tonight, July 28, on CBS by showing the 2001 celebrity tournament.
- STREAM: ABC on Hulu Live TV and fuboTV.
The show on Feb.5, 2001, featured celebrities Jodie Foster, Nathan Lane and Harry Connick Jr.
Foster won with $16,000 for The Hollywood Education and Literacy Project. Lane earned $1,100 and Connick $100. The show donated $10,000 to Lane’s chosen charity, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Connick’s, the Jimmy Fund.
According to “Jeopardy!” the celebrity tournaments have been “a fan favorite.”
“In 115 episodes, public figures from entertainment, sports, news and politics came together to compete for the benefit of their favorite charities. Through these competitions, over $9 million has been given to great causes."
Celebrity tournaments to be featured the rest of the week are:
Wednesday, July 29 - Jeff Probst, Charles Barkley, Martha Stewart
Thursday, July 30 - Wayne Brady, Dana Delany, Eric Idle
Friday, July 31 - Michael McKean, Cheech Marin, Jane Curtin
