Celebrities have shorter marriages than non-celebs - with divorce rate for famous newlyweds two thirds higher than for other couples, a study has revealed.
The research carried out by the Marriage Foundation comes following analysis of 484 famous faces whose ceremonies featured in glossy magazines between the period of 2001 to 2010.
According to The Sun, it found that in the first 16 years just over fifty percent of the marriages ended in separation, in contrast to three in ten for the non-famous.
Amongst the shortest celebrity marriages includes Baywatch actress Carmen Electra and former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman in 1998, which lasted nine days, while reality star Kim Kardashian and basketball player Kris Humphries were married for 72 days.

While previous studies suggested that wealthy couples have more stability, it wasn't found to be the case for the celebrities.
The research also revealed that musicians were most likely to turn their back on their vows, with a 69% divorce rate for first marriages.
Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage were married for 107 days after saying their vows in 2011, while actress Renée Zellweger and Kenny Chesney were together for 128 days after tying the knot in 2005.
And just 163 days saying 'I do' with Tom Green in 2001, separation was also on the cards for actress Drew Barrymore.
Elsewhere, Britney Spears and her childhood friend Jason Alexander's marriage lasted just 55 hours when they wed in 2004, while Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon lasted 60 days in 2007.
Actress Renée Zellweger and Kenny Chesney's marriage lasted 128 days in 2005, while singing sensation Jennifer Lopez and dancer Cris Judd's vows were over in 218 days.
Meanwhile, singer Katy Perry, who has just welcomed a baby girl with Orlando Bloom, previously wed Russell Brand - before separating 14 months later.
According to the publication, researcher for the company commented: 'Ego and opportunity are the main culprits.
'Being constantly told how wonderful you are is bound to boost ego, undermining the need to put your husband or wife first.'
