'Real Housewife' seen dining in Greenwich

Bethanny Frankel, former reality TV star from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New York City,” was seen dining at La Taqueria on Greenwich Avenue on Jan. 29. The Skinny Girl lifestyle entrepreneur reportedly purchased a home on Pecksland Road in Greenwich.

It’s not every day that a parent can say their children acted alongside legendary actor Will Smith, but for one Southington family, that dream became a reality during the pandemic.
ACC Network studio producer Daniel Presser and his wife, Beth — along with their two children, 4-year-old Maddie and 2-year-old Barton — have been producing online viral videos throughout the pandemic as a way to help the family stay connected with friends and family. The videos, which typically run a minute long, feature the Pressers' children recreating some of the most iconic movie scenes. Will Smith liked the idea.

Daytime Emmy Award-winning actress Susan Lucci and her husband, producer Helmut Huber, were seen celebrating Valentine’s Day at the Homestead Inn in Greenwich. The star of “All My Children” posted a photo on her Instagram account, saying they enjoyed the roaring fireplace on a very chilly snow-covered night.
TV hosts poke fun at CT's bid to make pizza the state food

When New Haven legislators proposed a bill to adopt pizza as the official state food of Connecticut, TV hosts, including Stephen Colbert of The Late Show had jokes.
"[Pizza] would replace the current state food, which is anything on the country club menu that you can eat through clenched teeth," he said imitating a snobbish accent. "Come off it Connecticut," he continued. "This is a little thirsty; you have zero cuisine of your own, so you — who sit right next to New York and New Jersey — are trying to steal pizza as your official food? Why? Because you have one town that makes good pizza?"

Most recently, Connecticut native and actress Katherine Heigl donned a pair of Jewels for Hope earrings on the new Netflix show "Firefly Lane," co-starring Sarah Chalke.

Tiktok star Charli D'Amelio has teamed up with Dunkin' for a second time. The new "Charli Cold Foam" drink is available starting Feb. 24.

Charli D'Amelio has added a second signature Dunkin' coffee drink to her repertoire of accomplishments.
The coffee chain announced the debut of "sweet cold foam," a topping that is meant to go atop iced coffee. It is available in three beverages, including the new "Charli Cold Foam," which is actually more of an enhanced version of the original "Charli."

Milford All-American athlete Callie Bundy competed for the chance to win $100,000 on TBS's "Go Big Show." Bundy, who played NCAA Division 1 Softball at Quinnipiac University, showed off her football trick throws on the new game show.
The "Go Big Show" flips the traditional format of most talent show programs by opting for large-scale talents such as monster truck driving and rattlesnake wrestling. The show, hosted by stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer, features an eclectic array of special guest judges including Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson and former WWE star Cody Rhodes.
Greenwich chef gives competes on Netflix show

Leticia Moreinos Schwartz competed on the fun, frothy Netflix show “Best Leftovers Ever!” A native of Brazil, Schwartz has had multiple jobs in the food world, including chef, cookbook author, food stylist and teacher. When she got the offer to appear on “Best Leftovers,” she was sufficiently intrigued and decided to give it a shot. The show, which premiered on Netflix last year, invites three home cooks to reinvent a bunch of leftovers into new and exciting dishes.
