Gossip Girl fans rejoice! We finally have a release date for the upcoming reboot of your favourite mid-2000's show.
HBO has dropped plenty of teaser pictures of the cast recently, teasing what is to come for this revival. But a new announcement from the Gossip Girls herself on Twitter gave us more insight as to when we can expect to see the show land onto our screens.
You'll only have to wait a few more months since Gossip Girl will arrive this July.

"Good afternoon, followers," said the tweet. "I need no introduction, but these New York elite do.
"Pleased to present your newest obsession — coming to @hbomax this July. Clear your calendars accordingly."
The post also featured a slideshow of pictures of the cast members in their Gossip Girl characters' costumes, to the tune of the original show's theme music.
In the replies, fans kept asking for a full trailer, which prompted Gossip Girl to hit back with many sly comments. We have to commend whoever is running that Twitter account for just how faithful it feels to the OG thing.

Hopefully, the final product will do the same. According to the official show description, the new Gossip Girl will "introduce a fresh crop of gorgeous Manhattan private-schoolers to Gossip Girl’s all-seeing eye."
The show will also delve into "just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed" since the original series ended its run almost a decade ago in 2012 (it makes us feel old too).
The reboot received a whole new cast – helmed by Emily Alyn Lind as Audry – but one meaningful return is Kristen Bell, who is set to reprise her role as the narrator and the voice of the Gossip Girl blog, or TikTok or whatever the kids use nowadays.
Other names attached to the project are Thomas Doherty (Legacies), Tavi Gevinson (Scream Queens), Adam Chanler-Berat (It Could Be Worse), Zion Moreno (Claws), Whitney Peak (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Eli Brown (Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists), Johnathan Fernandez (Lethal Weapon) and Broadway vet Jason Gotay.
The Gossip Girl spin-off will air on HBO Max from July.
