The Cincinnati Bengals aren’t the biggest NFL franchise but they happen to have some pretty heavyweight names as fans.
From actors to musicians and beyond, there are some eyebrow-raising names who root for the Bengals. And if one had to guess, should the Joe Burrow era produce more winning in the coming years, the bandwagon might only grow.
Here’s a look at some notable celebrity Bengals fans.
Woody Harrelson
Harrelson, a certain bartender from “Cheers” and detective from the first season of “True Detective,” to circle a few big spots on his resume, happens to be a massive Bengals fan.
According to the above, he also thinks he cursed the Bengals.
Gary Owen
Owen, a Cincinnati native, is well-versed for his comedy act that has seen him all over the place on television, plus more recent comedy specials.
Above, he showcases some of that funny in a visit to Bengals camp.
Bootsy Collins
The funk legend isn’t exactly a secret to Bengals fans, to say the least.
To the rest, he’s a legendary artist from the Cincinnati area who rose to prominence with James Browns in the early 70s.
George Clooney
Nobody should need an introduction to one George Clooney.
For those who don’t know who Clooney is…Google is a good friend. As proof of his Bengals fandom, he even once took Ed Reed on head-to-head over the state of things in the AFC North.
Nick Lachey
Lachey, a Kentucky native, was a powerhouse singer as a member of the band 98 Degrees, never mind the unforgettable “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica” alongside Jessica Simpson. He’s also a Bengals fan.
Oh, and he also got kicked out of an NFL game for defending the Bengals (see above).
Carmen Electra
Electra, model/actress, grew up in Sharonville, Ohio, and attended Princeton High School in 1990. She’s been open about her fandom in the past.

Herbstreit doesn’t need an introduction to football fans. As one can see from the selected tweet above, he’s even quite open about the fandom.
Dan Patrick
Longtime journalist and host Dan Patrick is an Ohio native who has written columns in the past about his time going to Bengals games as a kid.
Josh Hutcherson
Hutcherson, famous for roles in “The Hunger Games” and others, has even appeared on the team’s official website supporting the team.
Jerry Springer
Springer is famous for…many reasons. And while he grew up a Giants fan, he was a Bengals fan during his time in Cincinnati, even attending the Super Bowl in 1989.
Kevin Youkilis
Former Gold Glove winner and Boston Red Sox star Kevin Youkilis is an avid Bengals fan, as he’s discussed in the past on the team’s official website.
