1993 brought the world a lot of famous faces – from Disney stars to YouTube. It may come as a surprise how many storied celebs in the industry are just 28 years old. Alyson Stoner, born 11th August, featured in the first and second Cheaper By The Dozen as Sarah Baker, The Step Up franchise as Camille Gage, and the two Camp Rock films as Caitlyn Gellar.

Victoria Justice was born in February, 1993 and made her acting debut just 10 years later in Gilmore Girls, and quickly rose to fame as a Nickelodeon, appearing on shows Victorious and Zoey 101. Hollywood is no stranger when it comes to young talent, but 1993 is proving to be a standout year for celebrity births.

10 Jodie Comer (March 11)

Jodie Comer is a British actress who plays Oksana Astakhova in Killing Eve, which has been airing since 2018. Killing Eve was her major breakthrough role, for which she was given an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series and a British Academy Television Award for Best Actress in 2019. Jodie Comer has also made appearances in several other British TV shows such as VeraDoctor Foster, and My Mad Fat Diary. In 2021, Comer played Millie Rusk (Molotov Girl) in the sci-fi action comedy Free Guy and Marguerite de Carrouges in historical drama The Last Duel.

9 Cameron Monaghan (August 16)

Cameron Monaghan's acting career began at age 7, and gained attention after his role as Chad in Malcolm In The Middle, as Palmer Noid in Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and as a young-boy-turned-serial-killer in season 2 of Criminal Minds

From then, Monaghan hit the screens in 2010 playing Ian Gallagher in Showtime's Shameless, which ran for 11 seasons, and fans watched Cameron Monaghan grow up throughout the 10 years Shameless aired. For 4 years, Cameron Monaghan played Jerome and Jeremiah Velaska, twin brothers in the series The Joker, based on the DC comic books.

8 KSI (June 19)

Olajide Olayinka William Olatunji is a British-born YouTube sensation and rapper. Known as KSI on his YouTube channel, he began commentating the video game series FIFA – a soccer simulation game – and grew his success with his humorous "Vlogging." From then, Monaghan hit the screens in 2010 playing Ian Gallagher in Showtime's Shameless, which ran for 11 seasons, and fans watched Cameron Monaghan grow up throughout the 10 years Shameless aired.

In 2011, KSI had posted comedy-rap songs on his channel, and began releasing more rap songs from 2015, when he released Keep Up, featuring Jamie Adenuga – more popularly known as JME. In the same year, KSI published his first biography. KSI's career has stretched to Boxing, and professionally fought other YouTube sensation, Logan Paul.

7 Ariana Grande (June 26)

Ariana Grande began her fame starring in Nickelodeon's Victorious as red-headed Cat Valentine. Grande played high schooler who attends Hollywood Arts, and kick started her career as a singer by singing tracks for Victorious. Her first album, Yours Truly, released in 2013 and went on to inspire a 9 album discography.

Grande has won over 170 awards in her singing and acting, her most notable being 2018's Billboard's Woman Of The Year, and several Grammys. Through her career, Ariana Grande has broken 27 Guinness World Records. Most Streamed Track On Spotify In One Week, Most Followers On Spotify (Female), and Most Simultaneous Top 40 Entries On US Singles Chart By A Female Artist are just some of her titles.

6 Letitia Wright (October 31)

Letitia Wright was born in Guyana in 1993. Having had small TV roles in series such as My Brother The Devil, Top Boy, and Holby City, Wright is best known for her role as Shuri in MCU. She has played Shuri in Avengers: Endgame, Avengers Infinity War, Black Panther, and will be a lead role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (due to be released in 2022).

Letitia Wright also won the 2019 British Academy Rising Star Award and 2018's NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Performance By A Cast In A Motion Picture.

5 Keke Palmer (August 26)

Keke Palmer first began acting in 2004 at age 11 in  Barbershop 2: Back In Business, and acted through her childhood, starring in Jump In!, True Jackson, VP, and The Longshots. In 2019, Keke Palmer starred alongside Jennifer Lopez, Lili Reinhart, Constance Wu and Cardi B in the crime/drama film: Hustlers. 

Keke portrayed Mercedes, a struggling stripper who is taken under the wing of Ramona (Jennifer Lopez) as they begin to scam Wall Street men who frequent the club the women work at. In 2020, Keke Palmer was the first woman of color to host the MTV Music Video Awards.

4 Bryson Tiller (January 2)

Bryson Tiller is an American rapper who began singing and released his first mixtape at 15: Killer Instinct Vol 1. He later rose to success in 2015 after releasing a single, Don't. Bryson Tiller has 3 albums – Trap Soul, True To Self and Anniversary – with a fourth album on the way.

Following his first mixtape, 2021 has seen the release of Tiller's second mixtape, titled Killer Instinct Vol 2: The Nightmare Before. As of 2021, Tiller has 23 singles released – some of which gaining Platinum status – and has featured on songs by artists such as DJ Khaled, Gucci Mane and Jack Harlow.

3 Alia Bhatt (March 15)

Alia Bhatt is an Indian-born British actress who has featured in films such as Student Of The Year, Highway, and Gully Boy. Alia Bhatt is one of the highest paid Indian actresses today, earning herself a Screen Award and an IIFA Award for Best Actress for her performance in the black-comedy crime Udta Punjab released in 2016.

Between 2015 and 2020, Alia Bhatt has won 12 awards, from the Zee Cine Award to the Filmfare Award. Her success stretches from acting and singing to modelling. Alia Bhatt is best known for her acting work as she has starred in 20 Bollywood movies.

2 Chance The Rapper (April 16)

Chancelor Johnathan Bennett was born in Chicago in 1993, and is better known as Chance The Rapper. Chance began his career by releasing his first mixtape, 10 Day in 2012, which was followed by his second and third mixtapes: Acid Rap and Coloring Book respectively. Chance The Rapper became famous after his third mixtape earned him a Grammy Award.

Chance took a rather unconventional path to success after never charging for his music. Instead, he made his money through ticket sales and merchandise (and has since started a website to sell said merchandise officially), and refused to sign a label in his early stages of success. Chance The Rapper became a record producer, an actor ,and a composer as well, along with an activist and philanthropist – his biggest donation being $1 million to Chicago schools.

1 Will Poulter (January 26)

Will Poulter rose to fame after his first major film role as Lee Carter in Son Of Rambow. Just 5 years later, he starred alongside Jennifer Aniston, Emma Roberts and Jason Sudeikis in the comedy We're The Millers. We're The Millers was hugely successful, grossing $270 million. While We're The Millers 2 has been announced, there's no more news on a sequel just yet. Will Poulter also stars in hit films The Maze Runner, Maze Runner: Scorch Trials and Maze Runner: The Death Cure. He also featured in Midsomer, the psychological thriller/horror movie released in 2019, and will be playing Adam Warlock in the MCU.
