In a TikTok, Tendler claimed a stage setup in Swift's Eras Tour "looks strikingly like" her art "in tone and in aesthetics," comparing a video of the singer setting up a dining table to a photograph of Tendler sitting at a dining table. "It doesn't totally feel like parallel thinking to me," Tendler said, wondering what she should "do about this." But pretty much no one was on her side as the clip went viral and baffled fans asked if Tendler was seriously "accusing Taylor Swift of stealing her idea of setting a table," as one tweet said. Tendler has now made her TikTok account private, and she claimed in a comment that "this was meant to be a joke." Maybe she should leave the comedy to her ex.
