Jenna Ortega's Armchair Expert interview has come back to haunt her. The Wednesday star made headlines in March after admitting she was "almost unprofessional" on the set of the Netflix hit in that she started "changing lines" herself, and she argued that some of the writing on the show "made no sense." Two months later, the remarks have become a punchline during the writers' strike, with Variety tweeting out a sign that said, "Without writers, Jenna Ortega will have nothing to punch up!" Nick Adams, a writer on BoJack Horseman, also joked on Twitter, "Jenna Ortega better be back from NY for her afternoon shift on the picket line," while The Bear writer Karen Joseph Adcock tweeted, "Rewriting is writing! See you at the line, Jenna." It's surely all just in good fun, but in case there are truly any hard feelings, Ortega can make things right by sending in Thing as her representative at the picket line.
