Actor Sushmita Sen’s ex-boyfriend, Rohman Shawl, has showered praises on the actor and expressed how he finds inspiration in her. Rohman, who is set to make his debut in a feature film, also emphasized that they are not obligated to respond to anyone’s opinions and stated that they make a great pair. Sushmita and Rohman dated for several years before they parted ways in 2021. However, the two of them continue to make public appearances together and were recently spotted together at an awards ceremony.
In an interview with Mirchi, Rohman said, “Whatever she does she’s amazing and it’s a great learning to be around her. You can’t really fathom the amount of inspiration she just throws around, you just have to be around her. It’s not like on Instagram, she has that around her, you are in her presence and you feel, ‘so wow.’”
Rohman explained that it doesn’t matter to them what people are saying about them. Talking about their public appearances, Rohman said that together they are team and spoke about the speculation surrounding the duo, “We look good together. Doesn’t matter, we don’t live for people. You do your things, what people want to say, it’s up to them. You don’t have to answer anybody. We can’t keep on commenting on everything that people are saying. We live our lives, that’s it.”
When asked about working with Sushmita, he said, “To reach that level, even to be in a frame with her, I have to work a lot. Inshallah I will reach there someday.” Talking about the one thing he likes most about Sushmita, Rohman said, “I think when you really are fond of a person, you like everything about the. I dislike that she manages to beat me in chess a lot and I don’t really like losing.”
In December 2021, Sushmita had taken to her Instagram handle to announce that she and Rohman had ended their three-year relationship. Sushmita also made headlines last year after the news of her alleged relationship with Lalit Modi surfaced online.
Rohman said that Sushmita taught him positivity and added, “This is what I’ve learned from Sushi. You have to be in the company of such people that teach you things like this, otherwise how will you learn?” On the work front, Sushmita will next be seen in Aarya 3.
