Nothing brings a family together like Godzilla. Apple has revealed new details about its "Godzilla" streaming show "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters," which will star Kurt Russell and his actual son, Wyatt Russell. In fact, the Russells will actually be playing the same character: Army officer Lee Shaw. According to Apple TV+, the show takes place in the 1950s and half a century later, so Wyatt will play the younger version of Shaw, while Kurt will play him when he's older. "Monarch: Legacy of Monsters" is set in the Monsterverse, the cinematic universe of films that includes "Godzilla vs. Kong," and it centers on "two siblings following in their father's footsteps to uncover their family's connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch." A "Godzilla vs. Kong" sequel is also slated for 2024, and a new Japanese "Godzilla" movie debuts later this year. Clearly, the king of the monsters is working about as hard as Taylor Swift these days.
